Triton Underground Scholars Summer Research Program
The Triton Underground Scholars Summer Research Program (TUS SRP) is designed to prepare formerly incarcerated and system-impacted students interested in conducting research. This is an 8-week summer research program for Triton Underground Scholars Program undergraduate students. The fellowship involves working closely with a faculty mentor and the TUS program coordinator and OASIS Associate Director to learn about the research process, graduate studies, and possible career options.

Eligibility
• Must be formerly incarcerated or system impacted
• Must be in junior standing
• Minimum GPA of 2.5
• Must commit to staying engaged during the duration of the summer program
• Must be professional, accountable, and a team player
• Write a research paper and develop an oral presentation based on the research conducted
• Present at SRP Summer Conference
• Maintain regular communication

Requirements:
*Cannot have other employment during the 8-week program.
*Cannot be enrolled in summer courses.
