Summer URS - Veterans Summer Research (VSR) Scholarship for Veterans and their Families

Eligibility: Must be a military veteran student or a child of a military veteran. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or eligible under AB540 “California Dream Act”

Majors: open to ALL FIELDS.

The VSR Scholars Program is an intense summer research opportunity for veteran undergraduate students or a child of a veteran that are not working or taking classes during summer. Students in this program participate in 10-12 weeks of full-time faculty-mentored research.

In addition, participants receive optional training in how to write and present a scholarly paper, and participate in Summer Research Program (SRP) activities. VSR Scholars receive the opportunity to present their research at the Summer Research Conference in August of each year.
